General Hospital spoilers report Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) has been doing her best to be a good mom to Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) and not rock the boat with his family.
Being a single mom is hard enough without getting embroiled in a custody battle with the absentee dad’s kin. But it was much easier to play nice with them before she remembered who she was prior to her accident.
Now that her memories have returned, Esme is second-guessing how she feels about everyone, including Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
She will do her best to heed her mother’s advice and continue to pretend she doesn’t remember a thing. That’s her only shot at staying out of prison. But it’s not going to be as simple as she thought when all of her real feelings start becoming too hard to hide.
General Hospital Spoilers — Spencer Throws Her a Curveball
When Eame showed out to the pier, she was curious to see Spencer holding hands with someone else. She can't help but feel love for him even if she is upset with him for things he has done in the past.
Esme might need a little push to take charge of her life and quit being cautious when Spencer informs her that he and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) are heading to Paris.
She had to stop Spencer from leaving for Paris or she would undoubtedly lose her chance to date the man. But while his lady love floats across the pond without him, how is she going to keep him in the United States? It appears that she will need to use some creativity.
GH Spoilers Claim Esme is Falling Hard
The more time passes, the more difficult it will be for Esme to control her feelings for Spencer. Indeed, now that Trina is out of the picture, Esme may actually have a chance at placing Spencer in the ideal situation.
Not only does she want to ruin his relationship with Trina, but she also wants him to want to be with her again after they end it.
Esme needs to keep putting her best foot forward and acting as though the past is the past if she wants to improve the likelihood that it will happen.
If she can live that lie, she can drag him along with her, and perhaps he’ll forget how much she did wrong in light of who she appears to be now.
General Hospital Spoilers — Red Flags Abound
Sadly, Esme won't be able to carry out this whole performance without setting off a few alarms. Spencer and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) could begin to wonder how much of her amnesia has lifted when tidbits of information begin to escape her lips.
Spencer might not become aware of it until it's too late, which is unfortunate. We have a feeling that he will make some infamous errors along the road that could end his relationship with Trina.
Will he succumb to Esme's enticing behavior long enough to end his present relationship? Is there ever a happy ending for a Cassadine? Spencer will inevitably find himself all alone and regrets that he let Trina to become the escapee.
