Victor must be wondering if Victoria, who is devoted to her father, will take action to seize control of the company once she realises how betrayed Victor has been. If admitting the truth to Nick doesn't set Victoria up any differently than Adam, why not?

Victor is keeping an eye out to see if Adam tries to proclaim him incompetent and then takes advantage of it to get control. The Moustache is also well aware that he may be provoking Victoria on purpose once more.
Being a skilled chess player herself, Victoria is far more adept than Adam at managing her emotions and avoiding rash decisions. She might pose a serious threat to her younger brother and father on Y&R if she has that talent.
