In the most recent episode of The Young and the Restless, it was revealed that Christine and Danny had a heart-to-heart talk about all that has been going on in her life lately. Indeed, she did bring up Paul's name a number of times, raising questions about whether or not she had moved on from him. You must still be thinking about your ex if you are still talking about them, isn't that right?
It goes without saying that a number of fans of The Young and the Restless expressed their opinions about the situation on social media. "Christine talks at length about what happened between her and her ex who isn't on the show anymore," one commenter even said. It's been years since we've seen them together. I'm just indifferent. Danny is an excellent listener, but this need to have been handled years ago, and the narrative is outdated. The pair is elderly. Since Christine is celebrating her 40th birthday, I suppose they are giving her a plot. The only reason is that Doug doesn't return. Christine would immediately dump Danny if he returned in three months.
