I adore a well-crafted love triangle. This soap is vintage. But you can tell something is wrong when a writer has to fake a third of the à trois. As I mentioned in last week's column, Danny (Michael Damian) would never even consider giving human wrecking ball Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) the time of day, much less be on the verge of falling in love with her.
However, I'm cautiously optimistic that we'll see more of Danny and Christine (Lauralee Bell) becoming closer — preferably without the intervention of a certain flame-haired danger. Their sequences together were nostalgia at its best.
